Nicola Hamilton-Wild, CEO, ChinaSure,
is standing for the position of At-Large
I have been in Shanghai for over 9 years, assisting expat companies in the China market, drawing on my experience and skillset from 7 years’ corporate legal practice in top tier UK law firms. Latterly I have, together with my partners, set up ChinaSure, a British boutique legal consultancy specializing in cross-jurisdictional anti-bribery and corruption solutions.
If elected I would, as a new member to the Chamber, bring new ideas and energy to the table. I have both the long-term China experience to consider myself among the Old China Hands as well as the recent experience of setting up a business in China to stand among the newbies and SMEs and represent their interests within the Chamber. I am eager to become involved in the Legal and Compliance Focus Group, with a particular interest in the issues facing SMEs. I am told I am also pretty sociable, and look forward to becoming involved in driving the Chamber’s social calendar.
