The Chamber's UK-China Hub for Offshore Wind Meets with Chinese Manufacturers & Developer

In November, the Chamber's UK-China Hub for Offshore Wind and its member met with key Chinese developer and manufacturers.

On 3 November and 22 November, the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai’sUK-China Hub for Offshore Wind (the Hub) and its member, Cooper & Turner, met with China Huaneng Group, one of the largest Chinese developers in the energy sector, and three key Chinese turbine manufacturers in China’s offshore wind sector – Shanghai Electric, Envision Energy and Goldwind.

During the meetings, Angela Lock, Head of the UK-China Hub for Offshore Wind, introduced the Hub and its latest activities, and David Wilkes, General Manager of Cooper & Turner Asia, introduced Cooper & Turner products and expertise in the wind sector to the senior representatives of the four companies.
