Today’s buyers are getting more of their information from online influencers and third-party sources, and putting less weight behind company messaging, promotions, and advertising. They are armed with more information than ever before, and have become adept at researching prior to making purchases. These digital, savvy customers are becoming increasingly jaded and less responsive to the deluge of non-trusted, non-relevant tactics they are subjected to daily. It's time for a new campaign. Akeroyd will discuss the significant progress in the marketing technology space, sharing insights about his experience in the industry as well as his thoughts on earned media being one of the most effective tools and the next wave of innovation in marketing technology.
