Each participant will receive:

  1. Confidential organisational self-assessment report showing potential in teams being led.
  2. Confidential individual self-assessment report showing how adaptive/agile, responsive, effective and enabling pre-workshop leadership choices are.
  3. Comparison of self-assessments against their peer cohort group as well as a global data base.
  4. Multi modular short but intensive workshops which will show:

Session Outline

Module 1A new paradigm for leadership – WHY we need to change our view of what leadership is and introduction to complexity science


Module 2 A new approach for agility - WHAT teams need in place to be more agile and HOW leaders can be get better results, faster for less effort.


Module 3: Enabling followers with less leadership effort – HOW to achieve more agile self-organisation


Module 4: Enabling faster change – HOW to use coaching as a leader and gain faster results for less effort.


Application and co-coaching: 

1.     WeChat group where participant can raise insights and questions with the whole cohort as well as with the CAL Mentors, who can, if needed, give individual coaching should peer co-coaching not meet the needs.
2.     CAL's award-wining and secure ISO 27001 certified Impact and Peer Accountability System (IPAS) where participants
a.      Spend 5 minutes a day reflective practice and stop – think – reflect – log insights onto IPAS system to share with peer sub action learning group. Inputs are kept strictly confidential to the sub group
b.     Spend 10 minutes a week to stop – think – reflect – log how they can apply learning to their weekly schedule of work ahead
c.      Spend 1.5 hours every two weeks to have a coaching call with their sub group

Every two weeks a report is sent out to all showing level of activity of each group and individual:


Post programme reporting:

 At the end of the programme participants complete a quick and confidential on-line survey to report key learning, usefulness and benefits. A cohort report is sent to all showing what the cohort overall learned and achieved:

Bonnie Wang 王宾


Bonnie has over 20 years of working experience in cross-cultural environment, including 12 years as HR professional in China Branch of renown multinational corporations that enjoy worldwide leading position in chemical and shipping industries. Her work there was mostly involved in design and execution of projects concerning leadership development and deployment, change management, employee engagement, learning management, and performance management. Prior to her engagement in HR field, Bonnie was responsible for general business operation at an NGO with sponsorship from European Commission, supporting hundreds of enterprises from China and various countries in Europe to explore win-win collaboration possibilities. She also worked as a university teacher. Bonnie holds a Master’s degree of English Language from Ji Nan University. Having been deeply involved in translation of Nick’s book “Complex Adaptive Leadership – Embracing Paradox and Uncertainty”.

Lucy QI 齐晓峰


Lucy has 25 years of HR experience. She has deep experience of the automotive industry working at senior levels for traditional companies such as Audi, GM, Michelin and CEIBS, as well as future based companies such as NIO. In that time she has led a lot of organisation and leadership development programmes including company cultural building, change management, and building HR system and teams. Lucy is a qualified coach and certified in MBTI as well as Harrison Assessments, DISC, Hogan, and PDP.
