Having a voice that is heard is crucial to succeeding in the workplace! But getting one's ideas heard is a common struggle for many professionals in the workplace.

The British Chamber Shanghai's Women in Business Focus Group is pleased to welcome all professional women to our first "Think on Your Feet: Skills for the Workplace" seminar.

In this workshop, we will cover the main barriers that are commonly felt by women in their interactions at work; beliefs that potentially reduce their chances to convey intended messages in the most effective manner whether it'd be with an audience of many or of one. We will then talk about practical tips and skills to use for effective communication in the workplace, overcoming common fears people experience when facing different situations.

Participants will have the opportunity to identify their most common challenges when engaging and working with peers and senior managers, and work in replicating real-life scenarios with a coach who will assist in gaining practical communication skills and qualities to succeed.

Following the workshop, participants can sign-up for a free personal 30-minute coaching session with one of the professionally trained coaches to follow-up on any of the topics that were covered during this workshop.
