The internet-based big data technology and digitalised tax administration systems deployed by the Chinese tax and government authorities and the ever-changing business environment in China has raised new challenges to the multinational companies doing business in China.  

In order to achieve effective and efficient tax management and provide high-quality financial and tax data for business decision-making process, more and more MNCs are exploring and deploying digitalised tax and invoice management solutions as well as more powerful tax analytics tools in their daily operation. Such solutions and tools enables the senior management at group level to better understands the tax profile and potential risk areas with a macro and real-time view, and carry out tax planning with clearer goals.

Justin has 10 years of professional service experience with PwC tax team, including 3 years of experience with the tax team in PwC U.S. Chicago office. Justin specializes in VAT related services, including VAT digitalization solution and VAT system design and implementation, VAT health check, resolving VAT related controversies with tax bureaus.  Justin has served many multinational and domestic clients in a wide range of industry sectors.  In particular, he has strong knowledge and experience in the sectors such as automobile, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, consumer products and retail, high-tech, general manufacturing, etc.

Kenneth Liu

Senior Manager of Tax Technology, PwC

Kenneth takes the responsibility for Tax Management System planning and project implementation management, IT digitalization and automation. As a professional for tax business assessment, system design, function design to improve the enterprise tax management compliance and efficiency, he also does project management of tax management system implementation for manufacture, trading, retail, logistics companies.
