On Tuesday, 19 March, the Chamber’s Hospitality, Leisure, Food & Beverage Focus Group invites members to join us on a site-visit tour and experience new retail projects in Shanghai. 

Since unveiled in 2016, the concept of “New Retail” has swept across the retail industry in China, using technology and data to merge online and offline shopping, offering consumers a more-efficient and more-flexible shopping experience. During this 3.5 hours tour, attendees will be visiting three new retail projects, including LCM 置汇旭辉广场, Yonghui Super Species 永辉超级物种 and Mercedes me Store – the Bund

Jane Li

Marketing Director, Applied Brand Solutions Limited

Jane is an experienced sales & marketing professional with extensive senior management experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to her appointment, Jane was the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing for Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts based in Beijing overseeing a portfolio including hotels throughout Mainland China. Jane also served as Director of Sales & Marketing in several flagship Shangri-La properties including pre-opening of Jing An Shangri-La West Shanghai, Guangzhou and Qingdao. Jane is a local Shanghainese with a major in Hotel Management and is fluent in both English and Chinese. 

Serena SHEN

Senior Manager, Hongkong Land; General Manager, LC Mall

Serena Shen is the head of Asset Management of Hongkong Land Shanghai region. She is also the General Manager of LC Mall. Before join Hongkong Land, Serena served as head of leasing and operation of L’avenue, LVMH group. With her rich resources of Luxury and trendy brands, she led the whole team contribute to the mall management and created the landmark of Luxury Mall in west Shanghai.

Sophie Lin

Partner of Brand & PR Department, Yonghui Innovation Technology Co.

Sophie Lin has 20 years of retail experience. Prior to her career in Yonghui, Sophie has been engaged in retail industry for years and worked for companies including EHS TV home shopping channel in Taiwan, Yahoo TW B2C platform, Wal-Mart global e-commerce, and Yihaodian online supermarket. Sophie joined Yonghui in 2015 and is currently Partner of Brand & PR Department in Yonghui Innovation Technology Co. As one of the fastest growing national grocery chains in China, Yonghui is known for not only its advanced logistic system and highly efficient sourcing, but also for its technical innovation as well as online-to-offline offerings.
