The Chamber invites members who are interested in self-development to this presentation and experiential learning. Shang Rasul Frederiksen, Psychotherapist at Shanghai United Family Hospital and Clinics, will guide attendees to practice different mindfulness exercises, including guided mindfulness meditation, defusion techniques, and compassionate focused therapy tools.

Through this session, participants will be able to:

  • Learn practical tools and exercises to manage in a functional way for a calmer and more peaceful life
  • Increase awareness of their inner negative self talk and how that creates a barrier in their lives
  • Understand more about mindfulness and the science behind why it is highly effective

No-show Policy: Please note you must cancel your reservation in writing to the event contact staff 24 hours in advance. No-shows without prior notification will be charged a no-show fee of RMB100.

Speaker Introduction

Shang Rasul Frederiksen

Psychotherapist, Shanghai United Family Hospital and Clinics

Ms. Frederiksen received her first degree in Psychology from Aarhus University in 2011 and was later awarded a Master degree in Psychology in 2014 from Aarhus University. In addition to her clinical work, she also completed Therapist Intervention training and the Life Psychology therapy training at Aarhus University.

Ms. Frederiksen has five years of clinical experience. Before joining Shanghai United Family Hospital and Clinics, Ms. Frederiksen served in Parkway Health as a Clinical Psychologist.

Ms. Frederiksen holds a Certification in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Certification in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
