Cary Zheng

Senior Director, Savills Commercial Shanghai

Cary Zheng Joined Savills in 2005 and prior to that, he started his career with Jones Lang LaSalle in 1998, working in their tenant representation team.

Cary has accumulated more than 17 years of experience in the Shanghai commercial market, establishing strong relationships with both clients and landlords (in particular, with PRC developers).

Cary focused on working on behalf of the occupier client, leveraging his extensive working knowledge of the Shanghai landlord community. He provides advice to occupiers on issues such as lease acquisition, renewals and lease restructuring strategies for major multi-national companies and enterprises in Shanghai. Cary is an invaluable team member to the tenant advisory team.

Cary’s experience and market nous will be useful and important in the negotiation process and strategy development, allowing our tenant advisory team to obtain optimum results for our clients.

James MacDonald

Director, Savills Research China

James Macdonald was appointed as Head of Savills Research China in 2007. He has overall responsibility for expanding the research capabilities, and to consolidate and integrate all research activities in Greater China.

Since joining Savills that year, James has been actively involved in the growth of the Research and Development Consultancy department, advising and liaising with, numerous developers and financial institutions.

At Savills, James has worked with numerous MNCs including developers such as Tishman Speyer, SHK, Hines, CRC and Riofisa. He has also advised a number of the more active investment institutions including Treasury Holdings, Morgan Stanley and SEB, with reports covering a wide variety of developments including mixed and single use projects in Shanghai, Harbin, Nanjing, Beijing, Tianjin, Chengdu, Hangzhou and Guangzhou.

Christina Lu

Property Manager, Savills Property and Asset Management Services Shanghai

Christina Lu worked for several famous Top 500 companies in the past 10 years and she joined in Savills in June of 2014 and took charge of Project Management business development of Great China.

Christina is experienced in communication and project fulfillment. She is certified LEED Accredited Professional and takes the responsibility of Green Building Consultancy business from Sep of 2016. She is also the certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

Christina is providing the professional and integrated sustainability solutions for a lot of corporate clients and developers in China.

Troy Tan

Associate Director, Savills Project Management Services Shanghai

With over 15 years of project management experience, Troy Tan is a highly capable, efficient and effective project associate director. Troy has well-developed technical and engineering skills and is a ‘hands on’ project manager who is committed to achieving the very best project outcomes for his clients, including Pepsico, Medtronic, PwC, Panasonic, EMC China, Kai Long Rei, Merck Chemicals, etc.

Troy has been responsible for the supervision and delivery of R&D facilities, industrial buildings, education, as well as commercial and retail fit-out projects.
