Sign up for Shanghai Beach Clean up in June!

Following the successful fund raising at Annual Ball on 19 May, the Chamber is delighted to announce that as part of our support for HandsOn Shanghai, we have arranged for members' staff to participate in the Shanghai Beach Clean-Up Volunteer Programme.

  • Chamber Launches Volunteer Program for Members
  • Great Opportunity for your staff to easily participate
  • Only Friday or Saturday afternoon commitment
  • All arrangements made - Just turn up at no charge

This is a great opportunity for you and your staff to volunteer and participate in a very worthy cause in a practical and realistic way. It brings us all face to face with one of the biggest issues we face as society and builds awareness about the need for change.

The Programme has been structured to make it easy to participate. Buses leave central Shanghai at 12.30pm on Friday or Saturday afternoons and take participants to the beaches where under supervision they pick up and data classify beach trash (data is sent to Ocean Conservancy) and clean beach environment. They are then returned to central Shanghai no later than 6pm.

This Programme can allow you to make this part of your team building activity and enhance how your employees feel about you as a socially responsible employer.

For full details of the Programme please see here.

We have arranged three events exclusively for British Chamber Shanghai members.

Participants need to register as follows:

Once registered participants will receive an email with further details and pick up location. A minimum of 15 participants per event is required.
